Del Mar Middle School 105 Avenida Mira Tiburon, CA 94920 January 20, 2015 San Francisco SPCA 201 Alabama Street San Francisco, CA 94103 Dear SFSPCA, I am James McCulloch and I am an 8th grader at Del Mar Middle School. I am writing your organization because I wanted to appreciate you for all of the amazing work you have done for the animals of the Bay Area. I have seen your great work firsthand; I just adopted a dog from your program. When I first visited your adoption center, I was completely taken away by how nice your facility was. There were no cages, and all of the dogs seemed as happy as they could be before they were adopted. There was even a small park that the dogs could play in! Also, thanks to your fantastic efforts, San Francisco is the most humane major city for cats and dogs in the United States. You have had over 4,300 cats and dogs that have found new homes, and almost 2,000 free vaccines given. One of the biggest things that your great organization has done is make San Francisco one of the least animal homeless cities in the world. Over 90% of the homeless cats and dogs have found homes thanks to you guys. Another great thing that you have is you no-kill rule. I think that it is super important that no animals should be put down, and you guys should keep up all of the good work that you are doing for the animals of the Bay Area. I would like to somehow volunteer in the future and be able to help out with the large amount of dogs that you are so kindly caring for. I want to help the new dogs be accustomed to their new homes and be up for adoption to find a new, loving family, just like you guys did for me. With much thanks,
