Informationen zum Vorbild

Bis in die 30er-Jahre konnte die Hllentalstrecke zwischen Freiburg und Titisee im Schwarzwald wegen der
groen Steigungen nur im Zahnstangenbetrieb befahren
werden. 1932 und 1933 beschaffte die Deutsche Reichsbahn zehn neue Einheitslokomotiven der Baureihe 85 mit
der Achsfolge 1E1. Sie waren so leistungsfhig, dass
auch die grten Steigungen dieser Strecke im Reibungsbetrieb bewltigt werden konnten.
Die Maschinen wurden mit Ausnahme der 85004 bis
1961im Hllental und auf der Schwarzwaldbahn eingesetzt.

Informations concernant la locomotive rele

Le trac sur la ligne du Hllental, en Fort Noire, fut
assur par crmaillre jusquaux annes 1930 cause
des fortes rampes de la ligne. En 1932/1933, la
Deutsche Reichsbahn acquis 10 locomotives unies
du type 151, srie 85. La puissance de ces machines leur
permettait dassurerle trac par simple adhrence.
Toutes ces machines, lexception de la 85044 jusquen
1961, furent affectes au trac dans le Hllental et la
Schwarzwaldbahn.

Due to the steep grades the Hells Valley line between

Freiburg and Titisee in the Black Forest could only be
operated using rack and cog methods well into the
1930s. In 1932 and 1933 the German State Railroad
builtten new standard design locomotives of the class 85
with a 1D1 (2-10-2) wheel arrangement. They were so
powerful that even the steepest grades of this line could
be surmounted with adhesion operation.

Lokparameter einstellen mit der Control Unit

1. Voraussetzung: Aufbau wie Grak S. 18.

Nur die zu verndernde Lok ist auf dem Gleis.
2. Stop- und Go-Taste gleichzeitig drcken,
bis 99 in der Anzeige aufblinkt.
3. Stop-Taste drcken.
4. Lokadresse 80 eingeben.
5. Umschaltbefehl am Fahrregler dauernd schalten.
Dabei die Go-Taste drcken.
6. Licht bei der Lok blinkt. Wenn nicht, ab Schritt 2
wiederholen.
7. Registernummer fr den zu ndernden Parameter eingeben (=> Liste auf Seite 20).
8. Fahrtrichtungswechsel bettigen.
9. Neuen Wert eingeben (=> Liste auf Seite 20).
10. Fahrtrichtungswechsel bettigen.
11. Vorgang beenden mit Drcken der StopTaste. Anschlieend Drcken der Go-Taste.
Setting Locomotive Parameters with the
Control Unit

1. Requirement: Setup as in diagram on page 18.

Only the locomotive to be changed can be on
the track.
2. Press the Stop and Go at the same time
until 99 blinks in the display.

3. Press the Stop button.

4. Enter the locomotive address 80.
5. Hold the speed control knob in the reverse
direction position constantly. Press the Go
button while you do this.
6. The headlight on the locomotive will blink. If no,
repeat starting at Step 2.
7. Enter the register number for the parameter
to be changed (=> List on page 20).
8. Activate the direction reversal.
9. Enter new value (=> List on page 20).
10. Activate the direction reversal.
11. End the procedure by pressing the Stop
button. Now press the Go button.
Rglage des paramtres de la loco avec la
Control Unit

1. Condition: Montage comme sur illustration en

page 18. Seule la loco modier peut se trouver
sur la voie.
2. Pressez simultanment les touches Stop et
Go jusqu ce que le nombre 99 clignote sur
lcran.
3. Pressez la touche Stop.
4. Introduisez ladresse de loco 80.
5. Tout en procdant linversion sur le rgulateur,

pressez la touche Go.

6. Les feux clignotent sur la loco. Si ce nest pas le
cas, rptez ltape 2.
7. Introduisez le numro de registre pour le paramtre modier (=> liste en page 20).
8. Excutez linversion du sens de marche.
9. Introduisez la nouvelle valeur (=> liste en page
20).
10. Excutez linversion du sens de marche.
11. Terminez le processus en pressant la touche
Stop. Ensuite, pressez la touche Go.

mfx-Technologie melden sich selbststndig an sobald sie
aufgegleist werden. Diese Anmeldung erfolgt normalerweise innerhalb ein paar Sekunden.
Die sonstigen Parameter (Hchstgeschwindigkeit,Anf
ahrverzgerung, Bremsverzgerung) knnen ber das
entsprechende Unter-men in der Mobile Station / Central
Station verndert werden.

Important: It is not necessary to change an address
when you are using the Mobile Station/ Central Station.
Locomotives with the mfx technology register themselves
independently with the controllers the moment they are
placed on the track. This process of registering with the
controller usually takes place within a couple of seconds.

The other parameters (maximum speed, acceleration

delay, braking delay) can be changed with the appropriate
submenu in Mobile Station / Central Station.

1. Select the locomotive from the locomotive list.
2. Change to the submenu EDIT LOC.
3. Change to the submenu VMAX, ACC or DEC.
4. Enter the new value and accept it into the system.

hug zum Verschmieren der Kollektoren und damit zur
Beschdigung des Ankers.
Nach dem Aufbringen des ltropfens auf das Motor-Lager den Anker bewegen. Anschlieend berschssiges
l mit einem trockenen Tuch entfernen.
Lokomotive nach Mglichkeit nicht lngere Zeit liegend
lagern, da es sonst mglich ist, dass Lagerl zum Kollektor gelangt und ihn beschdigt.
Lubrication after approximately 40 hours of operation
Important Information about Oiling the Motor Bearings:
Oil sparingly (max. 1 drop). Too much
oil frequently causes the commutator to
become dirty and thereby leads to damage
to the armature.
After you have placed a drop of oil on the
motor bearings, move the armature back
and forth a little. Now remove the excess
oil with a dry cloth.
If possible, do not store the locomotive for
longperiods of time on its side, because it
is possible that the bearing oil will get into
the commutator and damage it.

Lubriez en trs petite quantit (1 goutte max.). Trop

dhuile entrane souvent lencrassement du collecteur et
des dommages linduit.
Une fois la goutte dhuile dpose sur le palier de moteur, faites tourner linduit. Ensuite, essuyez le surplus
dhuile laide dun chiffon sec.
Si possible, ne pas laisser la locomotive couche trop
longtemps car il peut arriver que lhuile emmagasine
dans les paliers parvienne dans linduit et lendommage.

Slechts spaarzaam olin (max. 1 druppel). Te veel olie

leidt vaak tot versmeren van de collector en daarmee
tot beschadiging van het anker.
Na het aanbrengen van de oliedruppel op het motorlager het anker ronddraaien. Aansluitend met een droge
doek de overvloedige olie verwijderen.
Locomotief indien mogelijk niet langere tijd, liggend op
de zijkant, opslaan, aangezien het dan mogelijk is dat
de olie van het motorlager de collector bereikt en deze
beschadigt.

Indicaciones importantes acerca del engrase de los
cojinetes del motor:
Engrasar poco (mx. 1 gota). Demasiado aceite ensucia
el colector y llega a daar el rotor.
Una vez colocada la gota de aceite, mover el rotor. A
continuacin quitar el aceite sobrante con un pao
seco.
No guardar las locomotoras tumbadas durante mucho
tiempo. Es posible que el aceite llegue hasta el colector
y lo dae.

Lubricazione dopo circa 40 ore di funzionamento

Importanti avvertenze per la lubricazione
dei cuscinetti del motore:
Si lubrichi soltanto con parsimonia (al max.
1 goccia). Troppo olio conduce spesso a un
insudiciamento del collettore e di conseguenza al danneggiamento del rotore.
Dopo lapplicazione della goccia di olio ai
cuscinetti del motore, si faccia muovere il
rotore. Al termine, si elimini lolio in eccedenza
con un panno asciutto.
A seconda delle possibilit, non si lasci
giacente la locomotiva per un tempo alquanto
lungo, poich altrimenti possibile che
lolio dei cuscinetti arrivi sul collettore e lo
danneggi.

Snurra ankaret nr oljedroppen har placerats p motorlagret. Torka bort verdig olja med en torr trasa.
Loket br inte frvaras liggande under lngre tid,
eftersom i s fall lagerolja kan hamna i kollektorn och
skada denna.

Giv kun lidt olie (maks. 1 drbe). For meget olie frer
ofte til indsmring af kollektorerne og dermed til beskadigelse af ankeret.
Efter anbringelse af oliedrben p motorlejet skal
ankeret bevges. Til slut fjernes overskydendeolie med
en tr klud.
Hvis det er muligt, skal det undgs at opbevare lokomotiver i liggende stilling i lngere tid, ellers kan det ske,
at lejeolien kommer ind i kollektoren og beskadiger den.
