BadzeJames is a government man but in the

opening sequence we do not see what job
he actually does, he has got himself in
some trouble. James has a wife and one
young boy aged 4 which we see the
torturer show him. James likes to play
football and hockey and dislikes watching
films. He prioritises his work over his family
which has been causing him some
problems.

Torturer 1 (Age 22) played by Tommy MillsTorturer one is the youngest character in this and he is
from Poland but was fostered from Poland to Britain as his
mother was a drug abuser. We see him being the harder
and rougher torturer making sure he scares James by
threatening him and shouting in his face. Torturer 1 has
no family and his only friends are the other torturers and
his boss Vladimir that we hear is mentioned. Because he
has no family or other commitments he does not care
about showing his face unlike the other one and feels like
he doesnt really have much to do. He likes to go to the
casino and gamble and spends most nights there and
dislikes family time.

Characters descriptionsTorturer 2 (Age 27) played by Ben SmithTorturer two was born and raised in Britain and had a
pretty normal upbringing. This is Torturer 2s job on the
side to get more family and his normal job is a plumber. We
dont see much of Torturer 2s face and this is because he
has a wife and a young daughter who dont know that he is
in this line of work, if they find out or he gets in trouble he
will not be able to see them again. Torturer 2 is also the
more patient one with James and does not get angry until
the end when they need to find out where the document is.
He likes to spend days with his daughter and is a good dad,
he dislikes working for Vladimir but has to do it as he
doesnt have much money.
