Dear Parents,
The 3rd grade (Mrs. Davis & Mr. Spencers class) has an exciting field
trip planned for the 2nd of April. We will be attending both the
Rosenbruch World Wildlife Museum, and the St. George
Dinosaur Discovery Site!
Visiting these two museums will reinforce what your children have
learned in 2 of the Utah State standards in 3rd grade science:
Standard 1 - Geography influences community location &
development. & Ecosystems, changes in natural environments over
time.
Standard 2- Living & non-living things, and their environment.
Our schedule will be as follows:
9:30 - Buses loaded and prepared for departure from Valley
Academy.
10:00 a.m. - Arrive at the St. George Dinosaur Discovery Site
(Guided Tour).
11:15 - Depart St. George Dinosaur Discovery Site for lunch
at the park across road from the museum.
12:00 p.m. - Finish lunch and load the buses for the Rosenbruch
World Wildlife Museum.
12:30 - Arrive at the museum (Guided Tour & Movie)
2:00 p.m. - Depart for Valley Academy.
The cost for this field trip will be $4. This will cover the costs for fuel &
bus driver. (Driver will be: Shelly Anderson.) *(Students can bring
extra money for gift shop Purchases)*Any parents attending as
Chaperones will also be asked to pay the $4 bus expense. We are
hoping that 5-7 parents can attend to aid in crowd control.
The field trip will run into the lunch hour and lunch will be eaten during
the field trip. Please indicate if your child will need to purchase a sack
lunch from the school or if they will bring a lunch from home.

Your signature below indicates your consent for your child to
participate. It, also, indicates that you understand that if any injury
occurs, the school will make reasonable efforts to contact you. In the
meantime, you give permission, in the event of injury, that your
student may receive emergency medical aid, anesthesia, and/or
operation if, in the opinion of the attending physician, such treatment
is medically necessary.
