To Whom It May Concern,
My name is Spencer and I am writing to you because I respect you. I
appreciate your addition to the internet through Wikipedia partially
because of how much I use it. The best part is just how convenient and
useful it can be.
It is wonderful that you are giving information out and therefore
intellectually benefiting the world for free. I believe that this is one of
the most helpful things anyone could do. I find the fact that you have
4,689,288 articles not only incredibly impressive but evidential of just
how helpful the website is to people around the world.
I think that it may be beneficial to your organization if you were to
continue to change inaccurate information. However, it is intentionally
misleading, not to allow that user to edit anymore. I believe this
because it would stop (at least slow down) pranksters who say false
things and hurt the credibility of your great website.
I would love to help your organization by writing a page on something
that does not already have one. One of the best part of this
contribution is it takes nothing from you but will (hopefully) make your
website better. This, Im sure, would help your page by making more
information accessible for free which is the whole point of your
organization.
In conclusion I love the fact that your organization is giving away free
information regardless of how many people misuse the power of free
editing to pose inaccurate information. I also hope that my small
contribution will be helpful to your site and I am hopeful that you will
continue to create some of the best websites out there.
