PRESENT PERFECT
Conceito: O present Perfect um tempo
verbal que no tem um equivalente no
portugus.
Normalmente indica aes que:
Deu incio no passado e perduram at o
presente;
Aes de um passado indeterminado;
Aes recentemente concludas ou que
acabaram de ocorrer;
Aes que ocorreu no passado com
resultados/ efeitos no tempo presente.

PRESENT PERFECT STRUCTURE

The Present Perfect is formed with the verb:
Have/ Has + past participle
For example:
I have gone to the shopping mall.
She has gone to the shopping mall.
We have seen that movie many times.

PRESENT PERFECT

AFFIRMATIVE FORM

have been in London.

Ive been in London.
She has washed the dishes.
Shes washed the dishes.

PRESENT PERFECT

I have not been in London.

I havent been in London.
I have not washed the dishes.

Just = Short time ago
Example:
They have just left.
I have just eaten.
She has just made the lunch.

ACTIONS THAT HAS STARTED IN THE PAST AND
CONTINUE UNTIL NOW

(Aes que iniciaram no passado e se

prolongam at o presente.)
Example:
I have lived in Sao Paulo since I was born.
She has worked for this company for 3 years.
We have studied English for 2 years.

(Aes em um passado indeterminado)
Example:
I have been to New Zealand once.
You have made a delicious dinner.
She has visited Italy.
They have climbed the Everest Mountain.

ACTIONS IN THE PAST WITH A RESULT NOW
(Aes no passado com resultado/ efeito no
presente.)
Example:
I have lost my keys. (Maybe I need open the
door and I cant find them now)
Daniel has gone to bed. (He is in bed now.)
Mom has made lunch. ( The lunch is on the
table now.)
