Partial Development

Partial development involves allowing only some parts


of the photograph to develop by limiting the developing
process.
1.Set up the darkroom and enlarger as normal.
2.Select your negative and place it into the enlarger.
Manoeuvre the enlarger dials to achieve the correct size
and focus for the size of your photographic paper.
3.Place a sheet of photographic paper under the
enlarger, making sure the red light filter is covering the
light.
4.Turn the enlarger dial to timer. Remove the red light
filter and set the timer to about 5-7 secs (a test strip
will give you an exact time). Expose your paper to the
light for the required time.
