How to run
a successful
Medicine Awareness
Campaign (MAC)?
Introduction
As medication experts, pharmacists along with pharmacy
students can have a meaningful positive impact on the
understanding of the appropriate use of me es. Increasing
medication awareness should be one of the priorities for anyone
involved in protecting public health. Educating each other about
prescription and non-prescription products, drug abuse, alcohol
reactions, the risks of antimicrobial resistance, special
vulnerable populations and possible interactions can make a
powertul difference in improving patient's health or even saving
a life. IPSF Medicine Awareness Campaign covers broad areas
revolving around correct use of medicines. It is our responsibility
to work towards responsible use of medicines and participating
in a MAC could be a great innovative way to do just that. Having
IPSF’s support, examples of projects and works around the world
will provide you with ideas and opportunities for you to
successfully run a campaign.
