Rhyming Couplet and Quatrain:


How did the author portray her message to the readers?

Did any of the ideas have any connection to one another?

Haiku:
What if poets decide to use Haikus without adding some reference to nature in it?

Ballad:
What are the implied messages she is giving us?

What imagery did she use to magnify that message?

What if the narrator was talking in a different perspective?

Would the poem sound similar to this one?

Guideline Homework:
What type of poetry do you prefer?

Write your own poems within each different types of poetry (In Haikus I expect both
traditional Haiku and Western Haiku).
