    Summary of The Story of an Hour

    Mrs. Mallard is afflicted with a heart trouble .Her sister, Josephine, tells a bad news about
    her husband. He was involved in a fatal railroad accident. Mrs. Mallard weeps at first. She then
    keeps saying that she is free from him, body and soul free. When her husband arrives home, Mrs.
    Mallard dies of heart disease-of Joy that kills.
