Recommendation for Ariel Arnold
November 19, 2014
To the Reader:
It is with genuine enthusiasm that I recommend Ariel Arnold for work in the field of Higher
Education/Student Affairs!
‘Ariel is a graduate student that provided a variety of services in the operation of the College of Arts and
Sciences Academic Advising Office since March 2014. During this time I had an opportunity to watch
‘Ariel's growth as a Student Affairs professional and had very positive feedback from students, staff and
faculty that she interacted with. This past year I have observed Ariel in many different capacities and
witnessed her contributions that met the goals and objectives of our department. I would describe Ariel as
someone dedicated to the institution she attends and for holding a high standard towards her performance.
Here are my observations of Ariel:
1) Ariel relates warmly to persons she comes in contact with. She is perceptive and sensitive to the
subtleties of relationships.
2) Ariel has consistently demonstrated a willingness to commit the time and energy necessary to
complete assigned and elected tasks. Once undertaken, tasks are completed promptly and without
additional reminders.
3) In contact with supervisor, colleagues and students, Ariel has demonstrated excellent
communication skills. In meetings she advances comments in a helpful way without appearing
elite.
4) Ariel has high personal and professional standards and genuine concern for others,
5) Ariel is at equal ease with students, peers, parents, faculty, staf, administration and the general
public.
6) Ariel has the personal skills and the drive to create enthusiasm those she works with
7) Ariel is results oriented, (I believe being a student athlete contributed to this characteristic.
8) Ariel is someone who I can count on for an honest opinion, creative solutions, or a big picture
approach to a situation,
In short, my past experience in the field of higher education I have had the opportunity to work with many
bright articulate individuals. Clearly, Ariel Amold is an outstanding individual, who in addition, is a
person with superior personal characteristics. Ariel will continue to demonstrate natural leadership
qualities, she will be an asset to both the students she interacts, along with her prospective colleagues and.
supervisor. Ariel is a team player and works well independently. She would be an excellent candidate at
any institution lucky enough to employ her. If you have any questions regarding Ms. Arnold please feel
