To Whom It May Concern:
Thave had the pleasure of being Ariel Arnold’s track and field coach at Western Michigan
University for the past four years.
Ariel has been an outstanding student since the first day she set foot on our campus. Despite
the long hours we require her to spend at track practice and despite the rigorous physical
demands the sport puts upon her, Ariel has performed ai an extremely nigh ievel academically,
maintaining close to a 4.0 GPA throughout her college career.
Although Ariel’s athletic success did not come to her as quickly as success in the academic
arena, she has steadily worked her way to becoming one of our top performers. ‘The qualities
which make Ariel an outstanding student are the same qualities which have allowed her to
blossom as a runner.
Diligence and dedication are two qualities which Ariel possesses in abundance. She
genuinely cares about quality and takes great pride in a job well-done. Ariel is a frequent visitor
to her coach’s office to try to find new ways to be better.
Dependable and reliable, Ariel is absolutely unafraid of the hard work it takes to be good at
what she is doing. In fact, she seems to relish any challenges which are presented to her.
Ariel is bright and articulate and has a well-developed sense of humor and a ready smile
which makes her a favorite among her teammates.
In short, Ariel Arnold is an enjoyable person to work with, and I recommend her highly for
whatever endeavor she may undertake.
Sincerely,
Head Coach, Women’s Track & Field
