The Arrow CCS when coupled with Aqueous Film Forming Foam (AFFF) or Alcohol Type Concentrate (ATC) is a system specifically designed for the protec- tion of flammable liquid hazards. How does Arrow’s balanced pressure pro- portioning function? ‘A_ffexible concentrate bladder within the ‘ASME pressure tank contains concentrate, ‘The concentrate bladder physically separates stored concentrate from the water supply. When the system is activated, fire water ‘supply pressure transmits force through the flexible concentrate bladder, which forces concentrate to the Arrow Concentrate Controlier. ‘The Concentrate Con- troller is precisely ma- chined component with a venturi and recovery section metering orifice that accurately propor tions concentrate into the fire water stream to produce the optimum ex- tinguishing solution, over wide changes in water flow rates. Low installation cost — especially when compared to coher balanced pressure pro- portioning methods that re- Quire concentrate pumps. 7. Easy retrofit of existing tire protection systems reduce expense redesign and refitting. '8. The effectiveness of the ‘Arrow OCS and AFFF agents with non-air_ aspirating dispensing devices provides system design flexibility ‘8.
