    My Black Satin Heart- For Gerard

    Flawed fragmented, ruined and repented:


    Ripping apart from corner to corner.
    The mere essence of how I existed:
    Jeering like some satirical mourner.

    Mourning my past; and now everyone sees:


    Im betrayed. You broke my inner core
    Into thousands of worthless entities:
    A single grain of sand within the sea.

    A stranger within my own reflection,


    Who can I trust? Everyone except you,
    For you see, Love, you are no exception,
    My views have changed, I see you anew.

    I deluded myself to think that we would never part,


    But your cheating and lying gave me my black satin heart.
