To Whom It May Concern:

I highly recommend Jessica Deren as a candidate for a teaching position. For the past four
years, I have had the privilege of working, planning and sharing ideas with Ms. Deren.
Ms. Deren constantly goes above and beyond to find current best practices and pushes herself
by taking more classes and workshops to benefit her students. I saw this firsthand while
planning interventions, thematic units, and aligning our current curriculum to meet the rigor of
the Common Core State Standards. She utilizes all data from state, district, and classroom
assessments to find researched-based strategies to meet each childs needs. She truly pushes
herself in this area, and I was very fortunate to use her knowledge as a resource when planning
for my own students.
I believe Ms. Deren has a positive and productive experience with all the children, parents, and
staff she works with. She willingly puts in time and energy and never hesitates to arrive early
or stay late. She is reliable, dependable, and hardworking, as well as creative, energetic, and
dedicated.
I feel that Jessica Deren will be a great addition to any school faculty. I can only envision
greater success for her in the future.
