California: Trumpet Club.

Synopsis:
- Jess is a boy who lives in a rural area of the South. He loves to run
and he dreams to win a race so his father will notice and give some
attention to him and not only to his sisters. Jess is convinced today was
his day to win and a new girl, Leslie, joins in and wins the race. Leslie
and Jess become great friends. They create a magical land called
Terabithia where they are the king and queen. They bring out the best in
each other. Leslie supports Jess in his creative artistic skills and gives
him the courage to not care about bullies, teasing, and what other people
think. They spend holidays together and despite their different religious
beliefs they become even closer friends. Jess tours art galleries with the
music teacher and when he came home he received bad news. Leslie was
in Terabithia and she drowned. Jess went back to being the old him. He
brought his sister May Belle to Terabithia and made her the new queen
to Terabithia. Jess then knew Leslie would still be with him through
memory and he could still be who he was even though Leslie is gone.
