April 12, 2014 ‘To whom it may concem: Tam writing this letter of reference on behalf of my student teacher Mr. Christopher Kenny. Chris was my student (eacher at Trinity High School during the Spring Semester of 2014 and did a wonderful job. Ducing this time, Chris taught both my Sophomore Geometry and Junior/Senior Algebra 2 courses. I was very pleased by Chris's willingness to complete any task I asked of him without any complaints. Chris demonstrated many qualities of an excellent teacher. He was always ahead in his lesson planning and prepared to teach each day. Chris also wrote his own tests and quizzes well ahead of time in order to give me time to critique them and make suggestions if need be. He was always on time and willing to stay after school, whether it be to attend teacher meetings, department meetings, parent-teacher conferences, oF tutor students. I found his expectations of students to he very high, but within the students’ ability levels. Chris was very organized in his lesson planning and delivery by utilizing PowerPoint. Mr. Kenny always dressed and presented himself as a consummate professional. He had a good rapport with his students and fellow faculty and staff members. Chris graded tests and quizzes in a timely manner in order to give feedback to both his students and their parents. When students struggled with the material, Mr. Kenny would adjust his plans in order to re-teach the material. Twas delighted to have such a caring teacher in my classroom. It is without reservations that [ recommend Christopher Kenny to a teaching position. 1 believe that he will continue to grow and improve as a teacher. [have found Chris to be a hard worker and very reliable, He takes pride in his work and will certainly enrich the lives of his future students. Sincerely, Tag © owl Mary B.
