Al-Khwarizmi institute of computer science (KICS), UET Lahore is looking for a skilled resource for its
Technology Commercialization and Incubation Centre. Job requirements and other details are as follow:
Position:
Technology Commercialization Lead (1 position-full time)
Key Responsibilities:
It will include but not limited to:
1. To Perform Business Development and Commercialization for technologies developed at the
institute.
2. To teach Technology Entrepreneurship and similar courses on need basis.
3. To develop commercialization/marketing material, technical documents for all projects/Products.
4. To maintain the website regarding commercialization activities.
5. To conduct regular market surveys and internal discussions with relevant project managers to
prioritize the list of projects for commercialization after evaluating their financial and technical
feasibility.
6. To build and manage a dynamic and energetic commercialization team and set goals and targets
with specified time frame.
7. To facilitate and lead weekly discussions with cross functional team to communicate status of
current deliverable and elevate any topics impacting success of project delivery.
8. To plan and market trainings, courses, workshops, seminars and conferences organized by the
institute.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
1. Good interpersonal skills, organizational ability, time and meeting management.
2. Proven people management skills and demonstrated ability to lead, coach and manage a team.
3. Capable of multi-tasking and prioritizing and ability to cope with pressure and tight deadlines.
4. Proficient computer skills for report writing.
5. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Education and Work Experience:
1. Master degree in Business Management ( Engineering and Technical Background will be preferred )
2. At Least 4 years of Total Related experience (B2B sale experience is preferable )
