It is my pleasure to recommend Mr. Ryan Walsh as a prospective candidate for employment as a secondary level teacher. I have known Ryan since November 2014 as a student-teacher in my classes, and I can genuinely say that he would be a tremendous asset to any district. The list of positive qualities is numerous. Ryan, first and foremost, is an outstanding person. He cares about the kids and it shows in his classroom demeanor, as he is always willing to go the extra mile when helping a student. Second, he does an outstanding job in trying to relate the material to everyones understanding. Ryan explains the material in different ways which makes it easier for all students comprehension. Furthermore, he is very flexible in his student-teaching responsibility, willing to adjust lessons and step in at a moments notice. The insights that he provides during class deepens a students understanding, and he is fair in his dealings with discipline. Personally, Ryan is very thoughtful and conscientious in planning lessons, and works well with colleagues in developing insightful, challenging material. It can be easily noticed that his prior student-teaching experiences have prepared him well, and his teaching portfolio has been supplemented in preparation for moving on the next level. I can honestly say that Mr. Ryan Walsh is an outstanding individual and impressive candidate for gaining employment into any district.
