Dear Manager,
With this letter, I would like to apply for the part-time Team Member positions in your
restaurant. . I have my Food Safe Certificate and have worked at the Trinity Baptist
kitchen monthly for one year.
Through my volunteer work, which has included assisting in the Dragon Boat Races,
helping with food hampers at Christmas and collecting non-perishable food items at
Halloween for the Food Bank, I have shown compassion and the willingness to help
others. In addition, for one year (30 hours), I worked in the cafeteria and kitchen at
Trinity Baptist, making pizzas, cutting bread, serving soup, chili and cleaning up tables. I
have worked for my father in his commercial cleaning company as well for many years.
With a positive attitude, I feel that I am both hardworking and love helping people. I am
willing to learn new skills, very creative and good at following directions. Throughout
Middle School and High School I have always achieved Work Ethic and Honours in
several terms. I have also taken First Aid in High School (CPR and AED).
