This letter is to formally appeal the out of school suspension of

The problem happened on August 25, 2014 at 10:15am. There

was a fight between Tatiana and her classmate, Farris. Tatiana was
pushed against a locker by Farris, and both students were given
Failed to do suspensions. The teacher, Ms. Walsh, allegedly saw the fight and made
documented
them go to the principal. The school didnt do anything and just sent
intervention
both girls home immediately. I did not even know she went home.

Tatiana was charged with fighting (a group 3-3 violation) but no

one gave me any documents about the incident. This is the first time it
happened, so she should not have even been sent home.

What does the code

of conduct say about
the charge?

I request that she go back to school and be able to talk with the
teacher who saw the incident because she was not guilty of anything.
Also, I want to have the two girls talk so they dont fight anymore. Finally,
I want to make sure the suspension is no longer on her record and she
can finish all classwork that she missed.

What should happen

next to help welcome
the student back into
the school?

Sincerely,

Melinda Johnson, parent of Tatiana Johnson
