5.328 nghn t nm 2011 ln 7.073 nghn t ti 30/6/2012, trong d phng
chung tng 7,1% v d phng c th tng 42,5%. Vic d phng cho vay khch
hng tng l do n xu gia tng mnh khin cho ngn hng phi trch lp d
phng tng ln. Nh vy, c th thy rng n xu gia tng nh hng tiu
cc n kt qu hot ng kinh doanh ca VCB.

VCB ng vai tr l ngn hng cung cp ngun trn th trng lin ngn hng.
Gi tr rng giao dch trn th trng 2 (cho vay huy ng) c xu hng tng
trng mnh t 8.621 t ng nm 2008 ln 57.043 t ng nm 2011, nhng
Qu 1/2012 li gim xung cn 42.204 t ng do li sut trn th trng lin
ngn hng gim mnh, mt s ngn hng nh gp kh khn v thanh khon nn
ngn hng thu hp bt hot ng trn th trng lin ngn hng nhm kim sot
ri ro. Tuy nhin, sang Qu 2/2012 hot ng th trng lin ngn hng si
ng tr li khi nhu cu v vn tng ln.
Ngun tin gi, vay ca cc TCTD khc ti thi im 30/6/2012 t 47.361 t
ng, gim 1,25% so vi cui nm 2011 v gim 31,04% so vi cng k nm
2011; Vay cc TCTD khc li tng, c bit trong nm 2011 tng gp 4,5 ln so
vi nm 2010 do li sut trn th trng lin ngn hng tng mnh v ng gp
ng k vo thu nhp t li ca VCB. Thu nhp li t tin gi v vay cc TCTD
khc nm 2011 tng vt, t 1.471 t ng nm 2010 ln 4.889 t ng.

Ging nh nhiu ngn hng khc ti Vit Nam, d n cho vay ca VCB tp
trung cho vay ngn hn, ch yu ph hp vi c cu tin gi ca ngn
hng hin nay tp trung ch yu vo cc k hn ngn. Tnh n 30/6/2012,
d n ngn hn chim 59% tng d n trong khi d n trung hn v di hn
ch chim t l tng ng l 11% v 30%.

hng doanh nghip (chim n 60% danh mc cho vay), trong doanh
nghip Nh nc chim n gn 1/3 tng d n cho vay. y l nhm khch
hng thng c ri ro tn dng cao, vng i d n di v kh nng thu
hi vn chm. Tuy nhin, VCB ang c xu hng gim dn t trng cho vay
cc doanh nghip Nh nc, t 35% nm 2010 xung cn 27% nm 2011.
T trng d n cho vay c nhn cng c xu hng gim t 11% nm 2011
xung 10% nm 2010, tuy nhin v mt gi tr tuyt i th d n cho vay c
nhn vn tng t 18.709 t ng ln 20.873 t ng.
VCB ang c xu hng a dng ha c cu cho vay, gim dn t trng d n
cho vay trong cc ngnh c mc ri ro cao sang cc ngnh khc. Trong
nm 2011, VCB gim t trng cho vay vo cc DNNN, c nhn chuyn
sang tng t trng cho vay vo cc i tng khc nhm gim thiu ri ro (t
27% nm 2010 tng ln 37% nm 2011).

TCTD khc) c kh nng chuyn thnh tin mt mt cch nhanh chng, m
bo tt cho nhu cu thanh khon ca ngn hng. Nh vy, kh nng VCB gp
vn v thanh khon l khng cao. Tuy nhin, kh nng thanh khon thng
t l nghch vi kh nng sinh li, do h s thanh khon cao cng cha hn
l mt tn hiu tt i vi hot ng ca mt ngn hng.

ton xut nhp khu qua VCB nm 2011 vn tng 25,5% so vi nm trc,
chim th phn 19,2% trong tng kim ngch xut nhp khu c nc. Tnh n
ht Qu 2/2012, thu nhp t hot ng dch v ca VCB gim rt mnh 35,2%
so vi cng k nm 2011 v ch t 657 t ng. Nguyn nhn chnh ca vic
st gim ny l do nn kinh t, c bit l hot ng xut nhp khu kh khn
trong thi gian qua khin mng dch v ngn hng ca VCB b nh hng.
Hot ng th ca VCB cng c pht trin mnh m v vn tip tc khng
nh c v th hng u trn th trng th. Trong nm 2011, VCB pht
hnh c hn 1 triu th cc loi, gp gn 1,5 ln so vi ch tiu k hoch.

Vi mc ch phc ho tnh hnh kinh doanh ca cc ngn hng nim yt trong vng 1 nm
qua (t Qu 2/2011 n Qu 2/2012), chng ti thit lp biu v kt qu hot ng ca 8
NHTM nim yt theo dng bong bng trn mt phng (h trc to Descartes).
Chng ti nh gi v th cnh tranh ca cc ngn hng da trn cc tiu ch tiu biu v quy
m Tng ti sn, t l li nhun sau thu/tng ti sn (ROA), t l cho vay/tng ti sn
(LAR), v t l n xu (NPL). Trong lc nh v cc ngn hng, kch thc ca bong
bng th hin quy m tng ti sn ca cc ngn hng v mu sc ca bong bng tng trng
cho cht lng ti sn. Bong bng c mu xanh khi t l NPL <1%, c mu vng khi NPL
nm trong khong t 1%-2%, c mu khi NPL nm trong khong t 2%-3% v c mu
en khi NPL vt qu mc quy nh 3% ca Ngn hng Nh nc.
