DSURTA Bill Request

What:
ACERT Conference and Competition (Association of Collegiate Educators in
Radiologic Technology)
at the Las Vegas Orleans Hotel.
When:
February 4-6, 2015
Who:
DSURTAs 13 club members will be attending along with 2 advisors (whom are not
included in the following costs, see attached contact list)
Why:
DSURT will be able to listen to a large range of speakers whom are experienced in
the Radiology profession. We will gain new information in our always advancing
medical field, meet the authors of our textbooks, and apply the information to our
education for working in the X-ray field. We will be representing DSU through t-shirts
worn and competing in the Student Bowl against many other schools.
Our Contributions:
1. Conference registration fees ($125/person) with personal money
2. T-shirt fees with merit money
What asking from Senate:
1. Help with hotel cost ($40/night, staying 2 nights)
2. Travel costs of 13 club members ($50/tank x 8 cars)
- Totaling to $1440 (any money not used will be returned to DSU ICC)

$200/9 students = $22.22 per 9 students

Travel = 4 cars * .48 a mile * 252 miles (roundtrip) = $483.84

$483.84/11 students = $43.99 per 11 students

Registration = $125 per student * 11 students = $1375 * .5 = $687.50

$687.50/11 students = $62.50 per 11 students
