The Udder Angels Childcare Advisory Board Meeting was held on
Thursday, February 2, 2012. Subway Sandwiches, chips and soda was served
from 6:30-7:00 p.m. Meeting was called to order by Tammy Carney. Roll call was
conducted by Beth spade.
MINUTES:
1. Minutes from the November 3rd meeting where read by Beth Spade
and Tammy Carney accepted and Patty Willey 2nd.
OLD BUSINESS:

Yard signs were too expensive. The prices started at $18.00 each
up to $40.00 each.
BARN YARD BASH
Looking at Saturday April 28th or sometime during the last week of April.
Will be sending out letters asking for donations.
Looking at Byerlys for Bounce House fun
Orlean will ask Dong to contact the Park
Patty will call the people who have the horses and sheep and Andy about
face painting.
There was talk of asking IAEYC, Huffer memorial, Born Learning about
having a special booth for the children set up.
Cornerstone Church for Games and Popcorn
BORN LEARNING BASKET PARTY WAS NOVEMBER 14, 2014.
Went well and 15 people came.

SLIDING FEE SCALE

Several are coming and asking about it.

Still working on getting that up and going.
PAINTING THE FACILITY
The painting of the facility is completely done and looks great!!!!!
NEW BUSINESS:
Barn yard bash date and time will be April 28 th and it is encouraged that board
members be willing to volunteer their time to help with games, registration or
food.
Score/SBA & Chamber of Anderson-marketing & promoting team will be in to
help in assessing Udder Angels to help Tammy market it better. They will be in
sometime towards the end of February.
Fundraiser for High school student to go on a ambassadors people to people trip
babysitting event February 11th 5-midnight $25.00 which includes, food, fun,
movies, crafts, adult supervision and a Dance on Friday March 2 nd at the
Gathering (cost and time tba)
March 12th starts our annual renewal for accreditation (NAEYC)
Tammy will send e-mail to Don Swegman for Barnyard Bash.
THOUGHTS, CONCERNS, SUGGESTIONS: meeting for Barn Yard Bash to pull
everything together is on Thursday, April 5 th,
Summary: Orlean will e-mail the minutes to all board members to read prior to
the meeting.
Meeting was dismissed at 8:05p.m. Tammy Carney.
Next meeting will be Thursday, June 14, 2015 at 6:30 p.m. food with Meeting
starting at 7:00 p.m.
