For effective protection, the user electrical cabinet, the vaive subplate or manifold, and the cable screens should be connected to cffciont ground points. The metal 7-point connector, part no. 934939, should be used for the integral amplifier. In ll cases, both valve and cable should be kept as far as possible from any sources of electromagnetic radiation such as cables carrying heavy current, relays and certain kinds of portable radio transmitters, etc. Dffcut environments could moan that extra screening may be necessary to avoid the interference. Itis important to connect the OV lines as shown above. The mult-core cable should have at least ‘wo screens fo separate the demand signal and monitor output from the power ines. 29 KDG4V-3 and KTG4V-3 Installation Dimensions KDG4V-3 ‘3rd angle Dimension in mm (Inches) praecton “Gi o23eiee ' Bical pean ‘eee ss eee ee a en th a I) és (UL A | rs | wegen sean LE 7 heesacee KTG4v-3 spacer ee are Dimensions in mm (inches) us trang col andeighonig — assqaqem. saoeboyer \ ftir ages ee) Ic >| ae eh ] Ki ~ LL t — na ; Bis (AH | wmgammnmn KE 4 — een le yee, soon erson 186,055) 278 L sm | maser oan oe as) 14,0 (0.58) for weather-resistant sogees L Solenoid Plug Connectors Dimensions in mm (inches) DIN 43650 plug connector is not included with valve and must be ordered separately. Hydraulic fuid must have the correct balance of cleanliness, materials, and additives for protection against wear of components, elevated viscosity and inclusion of ait. Essential information on the correct methods for treating hydraulle uid is included in Vickers publication 561 “Vickers Guide to Systemic Contamination Control," available from your local Vickers distributor or by contacting Vickers, Incorporated. Recommendations on fitration and the selection of products to Control fluid condition are included in 564 Recommended cleanliness levels, using petroleum oil under common conditions, are based on the highest fuid pressure levels in the system and are caded in the chart below. Fluids otner than petroleum, severe service cycles, or temperature extremes are cause for adjustment of these cleanliness codes. See Vickers publication 561 for exact detals. Vickers products, as any components, wil ‘operate with apparent satisfaction in fluids With higher cleanliness codes than those described, Other manufacturers wil often recommend levels above those specified Experience has shown, however, that fe cof any hydraulic component is shortened in ftuids with higher cleanliness codes than those listed below. These codes have been proven to provide a long, trouble-free ssorvce life for the products shown, regardless of the manufacturer.
