LIFE IN THE LAND OF OPPORTUNITY

You are becoming an expert emigrant. By now you have realized that
there are many people with many different stories following the same
life path you have set out on. Westward Expansion is changing life as
you know it. It is up to you to keep a journal of your adventure and
describe the people you encounter and the places you go.
Using your Facebook profile as a basis for your character, you will
write eight journal entries. Five of the prompts will be assigned to you,
and the other three will come from what you have learned and
observed from the content. The length of each entry will be at least
one paragraph in ABC format.
You will be responsible for:
Filling out Facebook profile with information from notes and book
(7) Journal entries are a minimum of 1 paragraph (1 paragraph is 6
sentences)
Illustration/visual included with each journal entry that connects
to that entry. They do not have to be in color.
Your last journal entry (entry 8) will discuss reasons for the
appeal of the West to U.S. citizens. Why did they pack up their
belongings and move? What were their legacies?
