Children have a pair/share

discussing the planets which
they remember.

Is it good to introduce all of the

planets at one time?

The teacher collects their

attention in order to have a full
class discussion of the students
pair responses.

Should I include collaborative

elements in my lesson as she
did?

Students work freely and yet are

staying on task.

I like how this lesson is to be

broken into multiple days.

I appreciate how the lesson is fun

for the students because of it
being scavenger hunt-like.
Creates sense of accomplishment
in its completion.

Students are engaged completely

and looking forward to starting
again.

The teacher lists each of the

students answers and then
through instruction put all of the
planets in order from the sun.
Teacher directs students to
preset stations each representing
a planet. The students are to use
their Chromebooks and search
given links to find information on
each of the specific planets
whose stations they visit.

Students are given 7 minutes at

each station and complete their
tasks.

At the end of day students

handed in what they had done so
far and will receive their work
during the following lesson to be
finished.
