It is my privilege to write a letter of support for Rosemary Meza. Rosemary is a full-time student in the Human Services Foundation program and has demonstrated incredible dedication to the successful completion of her studies. I admire her tenacity and her ability to overcome adverse circumstance. I first met Rosemary in January of this year. Rosemary arrived in my class inspired to learn and committed to her learning journey. During the semester Rosemary has managed her personal health challenges, parented her children, managed her household and some related issues, and contributed above and beyond in the classroom, program related events and Collegewide events. Rosemary has excelled in every aspect of the course and has shone in the Human Services Foundation program. Rosemary has embraced the program, has developed strong professional relationships in the field and in her learning peer group, has supported all Faculty and staff and has strived to make a difference on the College campus. Rosemary arrived on campus with some specific personal and academic goals. Not only has Rosemary worked incredibly hard to achieve these goals but she has built on these goals, challenged herself further and created new goals related to higher ambitions. Her initiative and dedication is second to none. Rosemary is an inspiration to me, to other program Faculty, to field practitioners and to her peers. Rosemarys journey at Conestoga has not been easy and has not been without set-backs. Yet Rosemarys tenacity and desire to live the life she has visioned for herself and her children are her touchstones. I admire and respect Rosemary. Sincerely, Norma McDonald Ewing,
