Classroom

Reboot

Punshon, Boston Lucero, Dylan Burnett

Reasons.
For about a century or so, the traditional way to
set up classrooms are rows. The desks were
set up in rows so that the teacher can see all
the students with no obstructions.

Solution
As the 21st century continues the upcoming
generations rely on technology and don't
communicate enough. The solution to this is to
set up the classroom in a collaborative way.

Layout

Chairs
The Brenton Studio Briessa Mid-Back
Vinyl Chair is a comfortable chair. The chair is
for sale for $70. Students will be able to move
around the room and collaborate with peers
easier. Students can also change the height and
how much it recline depending on the users
height and weight.

Desks.
The 72"W x 48"D kidney shaped desk Scholar Craft
Student Activity Table is the perfect table for what a
modern school needs. It can be shaped in an half and
whole circle, this way the students can work in groups or
they can face forward.

Color!
We are looking to re-color our room from a
bland cream color to a nice sea foam green.
This color is a mix between a light blue and
green color. It is said that blue and green are
nice colors to make students comfortable and
makes a happier environment without over
stimulating the students.

Recap
Collaborative desk arrangements lead to a
higher degree of productivity.
More comfortable desks and chairs prevent
student back problems and other issues
detrimental to student health.
Certain colors, particularly Seafoam Green,
encourage comfort and happiness.
