Interview
PRESENTATION ONE

Interview
Next class will be our Interviews (presentation

one). April 12, 2015


You are interviewing for the position of
receptionist. The company is a large Korean
company that wants an English speaking receptionist
to handle incoming calls and visitors. This is a huge
company with many different buildings, so they can
hire 15 new employees. If you are not hired you will
not receive an A for your presentation score.

Interview
You will serve as both interviewer and interviewee.
As an interviewer you will have questions prepared

(by me) to ask the person youre interviewing.


As the interviewee, you will have to prepare answers
to various questions.
Each interview will be around 5 minutes.
You will need to wear professional attire (clothing).
You will need to hand in your cover letter and
resume when it is your turn to be interviewed. They
should not be folded or wrinkled.

Interview
You will be graded on the following:
Coherence

The ability to answer the interview questions appropriately with relevant


detail

Clarity

The ability to make yourself understood, including volume, pronunciation,


and intonation

Confidence

Use of appropriate greetings, posture, eye contact and attitude.

Accuracy

Correct and effective use of grammar and vocabulary

Fluency

Speed, flow, naturalness, and comfort with English

Interview
You will be assigned a time to come to the classroom

for your interviews. DO NOT BE LATE. You will be


deducted points if you are late.
You will be separated into groups and I will be
monitoring and taking notes on both groups.
