Biography Elton John

Elton John was born on 25 March 1974, in London. His full name is Elton Hercules John
and he is a British singer, composer and musician.
He left high school when he was 16 and he started to play piano in a hotel. In 1961,
Elton was part of band Bluesology. In 1968, he released his first single Ive been loving you
too long but it was the single Your song that made him famous, in 1970.
He married Renata Blauel, German recording engineer, on 14 February 1984, in
Australia, but in 1988 they divorced. In 1993, he began a relationship with David Furnish, a
former advertising executive and now a filmmaker and they have two children.
In the 90s he continued to release hit songs like Can you feel the love tonight, The
one, Blessed and Legal Boys which were all on the soundtrack of the film The Lion King
with which he won an Oscar.
He has had two discs in the ranking of the best 20th century singles: Goodbye Yellow
Brick Road and Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy. Since the beginning of his
career he has been a nonstop success.
