To Whom It May Concern:

It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation for Grace Wilcox
as she begins applying to colleges and universities.
I have had the privilege of working with Grace for the past 6 years. She has
consistently demonstrated great moral character, strong academic foundation,
outstanding community involvement and compassion for others. She consistently
demonstrates a great work ethic that is infectious to others. I have personally seen
her mature from a young 7th grader to an outstanding young woman who is ready
to do great things as she enters the final year of high school.
Grace has ambition that goes above and beyond the standard high school student.
She has a wide variety of career goals that require a great deal intense study and
work ethic few her age are able to attain. She has achieved outstanding grades
throughout her tenure as a member of the Tide family. She has also been a regular
member on our honor roll since her freshman year. It is with great pride that I
highly recommend Grace Wilcox for admission to your university.
Grace has been a member of the National Honors Society for the past 2 years.
During your tenure in NHS, she has spent countless hours volunteering for an
assortment of causes such the Oregon Food Bank, church camp counselor/leader,
and youth volleyball coach. She also remains employed at Out of this World Pizza
and The Farmers Market. Grace has balanced both her academic, extra-curricular
and employment responsibilities with extreme success.
Grace is working aggressively here at Glencoe to obtain the Health Cam
designation. It is her passion and life ambition to become an Emergency Room
nurse. She has taken challenging courses, specifically in arithmetic and science. It
is my belief, based on her academic performance, that Grace will excel in this area
and be an outstanding representative in the nursing profession.
I have no doubt Grace will meet the high academic and moral standards and
requirements needed to be extremely successful in college. Her personality, work
ethic, and drive to be the best give me extreme confidence your institution will be
very excited to grant admission to this wonderful young lady. She will represent
your university as a future graduate with integrity, pride and a work ethic
unsurpassed by few.
