Goals:

to find solutions to reducing trash on


campus.

To have a new environmentally friendly


option for recycling and trash disposal

To increase the ability and reduce the cost


for recycling over the long term

Battery replacement cost $20.00 per year.
Planning to install 2 recycling compactors outside
and inside JSOM first.

Total cost: $8,000 initially


BigBelly Solar conducted a cost benefit analysis of
using the compactors on Webster University's
campus and estimated that the University could
save up to $100,000 in ten years.
