You MUST follow the criteria shown below to prepare and turn your assignments in via
Blackboard on/before the due date/time. An icon in folder Course Content has been created for
you to submit your assignments there.
(1) Assignments turned in MUST represent your own work and effort. Joint work is NOT
acceptable and will receive NO points.
(2) Assignments submitted should be well typed using a word processor; handwriting is not
acceptable. Use one of the following file types only to prepare and turn your assignments in:
doc, docx, pdf, and rtf. Assignments created using file types other than those shown above
will NOT be graded.
(3) The file containing your homework assignment should be named as follows: hw1, followed
by the first letter of your first name, followed by your last name, and followed by one of the
file types shown above. For example, the file created for homework assignment 1 using
Word for Windows by John Smith should be named hw1jsmith.docx. Files with names
created in other ways will NOT be graded.
(4) Write down the course title (i.e. CS107: Introduction to Computing and Programming), the
term (i.e. Spring, 2015), homework assignment number (i.e. Homework Assignment 1),
and your name on the first page of your assignments. Assignments submitted without the
information shown above will NOT be graded.
