It is with great pleasure and interest that I am enclosing my resume, as I am seeking an
elementary teaching position. I am confident that you will find that I am a committed,
enthusiastic, and experienced teacher as well as a lifelong learner. I obtained my
Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Westminster College and my
Masters of Education and Special Education Certification from Waynesburg University.
I have also received my Instructional II Certification.
From my enclosed resume, you will note my responsibilities as an experienced teacher.
Throughout my six years of teaching Kindergarten, I have provided my students with
purposeful, engaging, and intentional instruction in a positive and caring learning
environment. This learning environment has fostered a sense of confidence among my
students, which I believe encourages them to achieve their highest potential and realize
their goals. I have incorporated technology into my lessons, developed and reviewed
curriculum, and strived to keep an open line of communication among families.
Along with the skills that are noted within my resume, I will bring creativity, positivity
and a willingness to work with others to any position. I believe it is essential that all staff
and children should strive to achieve a dynamic learning and working relationship that
grows continuously. It is important for colleagues to work together to provide
stimulating and inspiring learning experiences for their students and to provide them with
avenues to pursue and accomplish their goals.
My desire in applying for a teaching position is to continue to have a positive impact on
my students and be a committed, outstanding teacher. I seek to grow throughout my
career. My intention is to never stop learning from other teachers, colleagues, and from
my students themselves.
