Dear Parents,
We have been learning about our Central Idea: People Interact With, Use and Value the Local
Environment in Different Ways. To celebrate our learning in this unit, we will be going on a field trip! We
will be visiting At the Top Burj Khalifa, which offers a stimulating environment for children to learn
about our local environment from a birds eye view. The experience will help them to gain an
appreciation and understanding of our local environment of Dubai including its infrastructure, coastline
and desert.
The details of the trip are as follows:
WHERE: At the Top Burj Khalifa
WHEN: April 13th (KG1 A,B,C & D) and April 14 (KG1 E,F &G)
Depart from GIS 8.00 am / Return to GIS 11:00 am.
HOW: Please fill out the permission form and return it with a fee of 80 dirhams (includes bus and
entrance) before Thursday 26th March 2015.

Please note that the payment and the reservation must be made with the Burj
Khalifa prior to the trip, to confirm you childs place the forms and payment
must be returned this week.
On the day of the trip, please pack:

A water bottle

Lunch and snack to eat at school as usual
