I am writing to express my interest in your current opening for Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner.
I saw the position posted on the Athens Orthopedic Group website, and I would like to be
considered for the position. I have been drawn to orthopedics since I was a teenager, when I
had multiple orthopedic injuries from playing sports. When I was accepted into Emorys
Family Nurse Practitioner program, I underwent rigorous course and clinical sessions that
were directly focused on the orthopedic specialty. I am confident that my academic and
experiential background would make me a valuable asset to your organization.
In addition to my graduate education at Emory, I completed my undergraduate coursework
in Human Development and Family Science at the University of Georgia. This focuses on the
physical, cognitive, and socioemotional development of an individual, which I believe is
directly related to holistic patient care. Athens Orthopedic Group has been consistently rated
as the premier orthopedic group in the area, and I aspire to work for an organization that is
so highly regarded. I believe that I am a strong leader, and I would fit seamlessly with such a
prominent organization. The combination of excellent treatment and service that Athens
Orthopedics Group provides is something I firmly believe is vital in the medical field, and I
feel that I too can practice with such excellence.
