that makes it dangerous for
people, animals, and plants.

Where Does Air Pollution Come From

Air Pollution comes from many different
sources such as cars and airplanes,
factories and power plants, cigarette
smoke, and even your own home!
One of the biggest sources of Air
Pollution comes from burning fossil
fuels.

Fossil Fuels
Fossil Fuels are fuels that are formed
from the remains of dead plants and
animals and can be turned into coal, oil,
and natural gas.
Fossil Fuels are burned to heat your
home and other buildings. The smoke
that comes from burning these fuels are
polluting the air.
