Assertives tactics believes that if you catch a pupil being
good by recognizing them when they behave they will work
harder at behaving.
There should be consistent consequences of breaking the
rules that are very clear.

It is practical because
Ground rules are set with agreement of both

parties and displayed.


Expectation are defined and followed by
punishments and rewards.
Pupils were given opportunity to design their
own rules according to their needs and
practicality.
Pupils dictate their own behaviour.
Develop teachers and pupils respect.

Helps maintain calming environment for both

parties.
Behaviour are tolerated firmly and
consistently in awarmth and supportive
ways.
A sense of awareness-pupils control their own
behaviour and their peers.
Increase pupils motivation.
Teaches social skills and at the same time
managing behaviour.
