ABSTRACT
In the process of modification of a machine is one way to add functionality
and improve the productivity of the machine engine. As would be done in the
wobbling machine in the area of Plant B Final Insfection PT Gajah Tunggal
Tbk. Wobbling process is the inspection process that aims to determine the value of
the balance of the tire. This process became one of the steps that must be done for
product Original Equipment Manufacture (OEM). Handling system used in
this wobbling machine is a conveyor which serves to separate the measurement
results GOOD 1 (OE) and GOOD 2 (excluding OE class). In the process of tire
out wobbling handling system is not functioning causing a buildup tire measurement
results GOOD 1 and GOOD 2. The tires are piled up before tumbling and mixing,
resulting in break-out inspection to the customer and bring Tire Claim OEM
especially from Yamaha.
Based on this, the necessary modifications to the engine. Modifications that
will be made is on the conveyor tire out wobbling. The purpose of this modification is
to have the ability to perform well handling activities that are likely to increase the
ability of the machine and increase productivity and minimize breakouts inspection
on wobbling machine.
