Casey Anthony
In forensics’ class we have been studying the case of Casey Anthony and her daughter Caylee.
Tbelieve Casey Anthony murdered her daughter Caylee, or had someone kill her. Casey
lied about where her daughter Caylee wes at for thirty days to her family members. Casey
claim’s she was using alternative resources to finding her daughter Caylee instead of letting the
police know. Throughout those thirty days Casey was out at club’s partying. If your daughter
‘was missing I don’t think you'd be out partying at clubs, and you would have called the police
right away. Casey’s mother Cindy calls the police calls to arrest her daughter on suspicion of
stealing the family car and money and informs the police that her daughter’s car smells of what
could be human decomposition. Cindy also tells them her daughter just admitted to her that her
granddaughter has in fact been missing. After the police Arrive Casey lead’s the police and her
mother Cindy on a wild hunt at three places she said Caylee should be at. Casey tells the police
that she dropped Caylee off to the babysitters, who goes by the name of Zenaida Fernandez-
Gonzalez. The Sheriff's office searches Casey Anthony's car and a cadaver dog picks up the
scent of human decomposition. Police also find hair, dirt and a stain in the trunk,
Casey gets charged with child neglect, and then later is arrested again on charges
of check forgery, petty theft and fraudulent use of someone else's ID, after she allegedly steals
checks from a friend and uses one to purchase items at Target. She is released twice on $500,000
bail. A Kissimmee, Florida resident with the same name as the one Casey gave to police
“Zenaida Femandez-Gonzalez” files a lawsuit against Casey, claiming her reputation has been
ruined. Casey had gotten her name off of a hotel sign in sheet and said she was the babysitter.
Skeletal remains are found in a wooded area near the Anthony home by a utility worker.
