1. Q: How did you become interested in this career?
A: My grandmother underwent a stroke, which impacted me very much. I have also always
been into fitness and working out.
2. Q: What are the aspects of this career that you like?
A: I like that I work for myself and I like to help people improve the quality of their lives. If I
have a bad week or day or month, I have no one to blame but myself.
3. Q: What are the aspects of this career that you dislike?
A: I dont have the same security. I dont have a retirement plan unless I set up my own. I
also have to be active each day for people to come to my place.
4. Q: Which classes or training did you take in college?
A: I was a pre-med student. I also took physics and chemistry with physiology.
5. Q: Is there opportunity for advancement in this career field?
A: There is an opportunity for advancement in this career field if youre working for a
corporation.
6. Q: Can you describe your daily work?
A: I start out with my own workout. Then I return emails and start with clients at 8:00 a.m.
Next, I design programs for people and marketing each day.
7. Q: Which skill do you think is the most important to perform for this job?
A: Basic physiology is the most important skill to perform for this job. Also, business
ownership and knowing how to get clients is very important in this career.

A: To keep my skills current, I am taking continuing education credits.

A: I would look for someone with ambition, passion for the work, knowledge, and
responsibility.
10. Q: What one thing would you do differently in regards to your career?
A: Some things I do differently are corrective exercise and working with people with special
health conditions.
11. Q: What is your advice for someone who is interested in this field?
A: Take as many classes as you can and pick a major that will help you for your career. Also,
get certified and get a good internship.
