    1. UsetheRectangleMarqueetool onanyopenimagetoselectanareatouseasapattern.Feather
    mustbesetto0pixels.Notethatlargeimagesmaybecomeunwieldy.
    2. ChooseEdit>DefinePattern.
    3. EnteranameforthepatterninthePatternNamedialogbox.
    Note: Ifyouareusingapatternfromoneimageandapplyingittoanother,Photoshopconvertsthe
    colormode.
    PhotoshopcomeswithasetofIllustratorformatfilesthatyoucanusetodefineapresetpattern.
    Openthefile,selectanyrenderingoption,andthendefinethepattern.
