What Can You Still Buy with a One Peso?

But the Inquirer Libre staff were shocked because there are long list of items that you can
buy with one peso. Here are some items on the list:
In Market: 1 piece of banana, mango, onion, tomato, 1 clove of chili, food color, vetsin
tawas, vanilla cream, plastic bag (P0.25, P0.50 and P1.00), salt, onion chives and 1 cup of sago.
In Toy Store: plastic balloon, magic candy, 1 cup of peanuts, toy soldier (2 inches long),
marshmallow (1 piece) and bituka candy.

In Sari-Sari Store: ice, assorted junk foods, biscuit (3 pieces), bubble gums, peanuts,
caramel, assorted chocolates, putoseko, panutsa, polobron, strawberry roll, bukayong mani,
cassava chips, rubber band and paper clip.
In Bakery: 1 piece of pandesal, kababayan, face to face, pan de coco, rainbow Spanish
bread, hopia, cookie and camachile.
In Hardware Store: wood screw, staple wire (u-form) metal screw, cup screw, 1 meter of
nylon or rope, tox, cup hook, hook and eye, and concrete nail.
In Pharmacy: ascorbic acid, and generic multivitamins (70 centavos).
