An interesting fact about my family is that my father was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and

he lived there for most of his childhood. My immediate family consists of my parents, sister, and
myself. We are a tightknit family that enjoys being together any opportunity we can find. My
extended family is rather large, comprising of aunts, uncles, grandparents, and cousins for each
of my parents sides of the family. My wonderful family has been living in Walnut Creek for all
of my life and we intend to stay here for many years to come.
My immediate family includes my father, Adriano, my mother, Lisa, and my sister,
Maddie. We are very close and we appreciate being together. My father was born in Sao Paulo,
Brazil, where he lived with his parents until the age of seven, when he moved to America along
with his two brothers, Alberto and Andrew. Adriano went to St.Marys College, along with my
mom, where he later graduated and became a dentist. He is very funny and an interesting fact
about him is that he rides a Vespa scooter to work everyday. My mother was born here, in
California. She grew up in Moraga with her parents and a younger brother, named Mike. My
mother is a stay-at-home mom and she cares greatly for my sister and I. My sister is 19 years old
and she attended Northgate High School. She is now a sophomore at the University of Arizona
so we only see her on holidays. We, as a family, value our time that we see Maddie because it is
not very often.
My extended family is rather large. My mom has one brother and my dad has three. I
have grandparents on both sides of the family. We do not have formal reunions but we spend our
holidays together usually at a relatives house. Its a special to spend time with my extended
family. Almost all of my extended family resides in California so we are not very spread out
geographically. I have met all of my relatives and I love be with each and every one of them.
