Sincerely, Cary Lopez, Director University Scholarship Office Enclosures Value: Renewal Requirements: ‘Acceptance Deadline: Other: and Leave of Absence Contact Information: Partial Honors at Entrance Scholarship ‘A sum of $2,500 will be awarded toward the cost of tuition annually ($1,280 per semester), fora maximum of eight semesters, or until you receive a baccalaureate degree, whichever ‘comes first. Your scholarship may be renewed each year, provided you maintain a 3.6 cumulative GPA and complete twenty-four (24) erdit hours during the iwo semesters of the academie year (12 hours each, fall and spring semesters), twenty (20) of which must be graded. Ifstudents do not know whether they are in the U.S. lawfully, they should seck the vice of an immigration auomey before accepting this award Scholarships awarded by the University Scholarship Office (including President's ‘Scholarship, Honors at Entrance, Cash at Entrance, Diversity Scholarship and Leadership Scholarship) willbe deferred if the deferment request is approved by the Oifice of ‘Admissions Newly accepted freshman, transfer, oF readmitted degree-seeking undergraduate students ‘who wish to defer their start date oa later semester may’ apply’ for an admission deferment. ‘+ Requests to defer an offer of admission will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis 1nd may be granted for reasons including, but not Limited to illness, military service, and humanitarian or religious service.
