-Time management skills
- Plan for each day in advance
- Start my charting after morning care and continue until the end of
shift
- Observe peers and adapt strategies that demonstrate good
organization
- Seek clinical instructors advise
- Review my plan, note areas for improvement, and modify or
change in the next shift
- Prioritize nursing tasks according to level of importance (e.g.
get a BP baseline, inquire patients pain or comfort level at
beginning of shift, assess respiratory status)
