Horizon360 is a MSO offering targeted at IT service providers and Internal IT
divisions of large organization. It includes offering starting from assessment, deepdive diagnostic, transformation toolkits. The team has experience serving leading
IT service providers and IT divisions of large banks, telecoms across globe. To
further push our client reach and relevance, we are looking at aspirational people
with good understanding of IT, who wouldn't mind experimenting and deliver
change

Overview of the Data Analyst position for Horizon 360 in McKinsey Solutions
Office (MSO)
Responsible for interacting with clients / consulting team to understand their
requirements and design / map client data on to Horizon360 tools "Navigator" and
"Sapience" for running analysis and delivering insights as part of transformation
Main Responsibilities:
Understanding the business requirements of our clients / consultants, and
develop good working knowledge of McKinsey tools.
Execute quick turn-around work in MS Excel
Build data intensive models / tools
Provide assistance/guidance to other members in MS Excel
Qualifications/Skill set
 Minimum 3-5 year experience in similar roles with ability to manage and run
analysis on large data set
 Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science/IT with relevant IT related
certifications (like, DOEACC A level, GNIIT) and having high
programming and logical skills
(OR)
 Post Graduate/Graduate in Computer Applications from Tier II institutes and
having a course in mathematics/statistics is a plus
 Have solid understanding of MS Excel including
 Functions for performing data aggregation (sumif, countif), data cleaning
(like trim, len, mid), data lookups (lookups, match, index) and cell
references
 Pivot tables
 Importing data from various sources (like formats like text files, CSVs, MS
Access)
 Soft Skills include
 Able to handle client calls on technical and data issues
 Strong problem solving and logical skills
 Good written and verbal communication skills.
 Ability to work under pressure and deliver on tight deadlines.
 Ability to work in a team
 Energetic, cooperative and pleasant personality
 Be a self-starter and willing to take initiative
Travel

The role will require travelling with in India at least 10-15% of the time at a
short notice
