    createdtheworld.Hindusbelievethattheiractionsdictatewhatwillhappentothem
    whentheyarereincarnated.Theyalsobelieveinkarmawhichisacauseandeffect
    basedonindividualactionsinwhichsomeonecreatestheirowndestinythrough
    thoughts,speech,andactions.OtherreligionssuchasChristianity,Buddhism,
    Islamism,Sikhism,andotherreligionsarealsopracticedinIndia.InIndianculture,
    manypeoplearevegetarian.Thisisbecause,theirreligionbelievesthatitisntrightto
    eatorharmanimals.Thatbeingsaid,almost100percentofthepeopleinIndiabelieve
    thatthecowisaverysacredanimal.Forthisreasoncowsarenottobeeaten,harmed,
    orevendisrespected.Cowsareallowedtoroamfreelyaroundthestreetsandcitiesof
    Indiabecauseofhowsacredandholytheyare.Birdsarealsoananimalthatisvery
    sacredtotheIndianculture.IntheVeda(TheHinduscripture),thereisastoryabouta
    boywhoistrainingtobecomeaguruandhelearnsfromhisguru.Onedaytheboy
    vomitsouthisknowledgeandthenthebirdspeckedattheknowledge(Vomit)and
    gainedit.InIndia,thebirdrepresentsflight,thought,knowledge,lightness,andthe
    freedomtosoarwithoutboundaries.TheIndiancuisineisablendbetweenBritish
    dishesthathavebeenslightlyalteredwiththespicesthatcanbefoundinIndia.

    OneofthebiggestpastimesinIndiaiswatchingmovies.InIndiatherearemany
    moviesmadeeveryyearinBollywood.Therehavebeenmanymoviesthatrangefrom
    soapoperas,tohistorymoviessuchasGandhi.AnotherpastimefortheIndianculture
    aresports.
    CricketwasmadeinIndiaandisthenumberonesportthere.WhenGreat
    BritaintookcontroloverIndia,thesoldiersdidnthavemuchtodothatwerestationed
    theresotheyplayedcricketandthatswhycricketissobigintheUK.Thosesame
    soldiersalsointroducedthesportofsoccertoIndia.NowIndiahasfellinlovewith
    soccerandisgrowinginIndiaeveryday.Indiahasanamazingculturethatisbeing
    moremodernizedeveryday.
