First for Women WESLEYAN ‘April3, 2015 To whom it may concern: Hannah Finch has worked as an Education assistant in our office for two years. She was quickly promoted to team leader when | observed her natural leadership skills and care of each project she was assigned. In her new role, Hannah spent a lot of her time supervising and guiding other student workers with group projects to improve our office and Resource Room. She put her heart into organizing our department library: cataloging, alphabetizing and labeling hundreds of books to make the collection much more accessible. We were fortunate that she was in charge of this project! Hannah also reorganized our student confidential filing system, both hard copies and electronic. She assisted in writing a new student worker manual too, which will help students who come after her to excel in their position, Hannah is dependable, honiest and caring. Hannah is an amazing student, employee and future teacher. In my technology class, she always met due dates, followed instructions, and took pride in the work she turned in. Hannah has an obvious passion for teaching and is a wonderful representative of our program here at Wesleyan. She is always telling me about her student teaching experience and the accomplishments of her students. Her love for the classroom is impeccable. When she realized her last day in the classroom was scheduled to be over on a Monday, She decided to stay through that week to say goodbye on a Friday as it would give the students longer to adjust. Where other student teachers might be counting. down the days, Hannah shows this level of commitment on a regular basis to the classroom. If had a child, | would want Ms. Finch to be her teacher.
